Peter Fieweger’s educational and professional credentials are impressive. First, he received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1956 where he graduated cum laude. Then, it was on to the prestigious School of Law at Northwestern University where Peter received his Juris Doctor in 1962. He is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Iowa and he has also been admitted to the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Seventh District.
Following his law school graduation, Peter entered practice as an associate with the Van Der Kamp & Crampton law practice, followed by a period as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Rock Island County during which time he served as an arbitrator. In 1966, he joined the highly regarded firm of Katz, McAndrews, Durkee & Telleen, which has evolved into Katz, Huntoon & Fieweger, P.C.

Peter Fieweger is a member of the Rock Island County Bar Association and has served that organization as both President and Vice President. He is also a member of the Illinois Bar Association, the American Arbitrators Association and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers since 1998.
